Today the topic of my impromtu speech is that home is where the heart is. Home is the harbor of both our body and mind. Home is the never ever changed inner sustenance. Many people may say that where there is home, there is heart, but I want to say that where there is heart, there is home. Concerning this saying, I have three points to back me up.
Regarding the first point, if only we have love, and care for the parents sincerely, then home is just there near us. We still can be together if our hearts are connected. The reason why home is so important to us is that there are our beloved parents waiting for us. No matter how far we are away from home, their solicitude is always there. In the same way, whether we are near at hand or far away at the end of the world. Take an ancient Chinese flood-combatting hero-Da Yu for example. At that time, Da Yu was assigned to combat the flood through water control. He passed his home three times, but never went in for a look. Didn’t he want to go in? I don’t think so. I believe he missed his family so much in his heart, but he knew what the more important thing was. Therefore, he put his home in his heart and regulated waters first. Accordingly, we can see that as long as we have a caring heart, home is not distant from us.
Secondly, where there is love and affection in your heart, there is your home. To illustrate, San Mao, a Chinese Taiwanese writer, and her husband, Hexi lived in the Sahara Desert happily. Though they lived in the harsh environment and they didn’t have enough food supplies, they were still contented with what they had got. Neither San Mao nor He Xi was the original resident there, but for love in their hearts, they treated there as their home. This fully explained why San Mao finally left the Sahara after He Xi’s death. If love has gone, then the home will not exist any more.
Bringing my arguments to a close, heart is the harbor of home. Only if we are full of love towards our families, home is always there with us no matter how far it is geographically.
Ladies and Gentlemen:
Good morning, my name is jack, it is really a great honor to have this opportunity for a interview, i would like to answer whatever you may raise, and i hope i can make a good performance today, eventually enroll in this prestigious university in september. now i will introduce myself briefly,i am 21 years old, born in heilongjiang province ,northeast of china, and i am curruently a senior student at beijing major is packaging i will receive my bachelor degree after my graduation in the past 4 years,i spend most of my time on study,i have passed CET4/6 with a ease. and i have acquired basic knowledge of packaging and publishing both in theory and in practice. besides, i have attend
several packaging exhibition hold in Beijing, this is our advantage study here, i have taken a tour to some big factory and company. through these i have a deeply understanding of domestic packaging industry. compared to developed countries such as us, unfortunately, although we have made extraordinary progress since 1978,our packaging industry are still underdeveloped, mess, unstable, the situation of employees in this field are awkard. but i have full confidence in a bright future if only our economy can keep the growth pace still. i guess you maybe interested in the reason itch to law, and what is my plan during graduate study life, i would like to tell you that pursue law is one of my lifelong goal,i like my major packaging and i wont give up,if i can pursue my master degree here i will combine law with my former education. i will work hard in

Thank you very much.
but now here's where the bias comes in. our most important institutions, our schools and our workplaces, they are designed mostly for extroverts and for extroverts' need for lots of stimulation. and also we have this belief system right now that i call the new groupthink, which holds that all creativity and all productivity comes from a very oddly gregarious place.
so if you picture the typical classroom nowadays: when i was going to school, we sat in rows. we sat in rows of desks like this, and we did most of our work pretty autonomously. but nowadays, your typical classroom has pods of desks -- four or five or six or seven kids all facing each other. and kids are working in countless group assignments. even in subjects like math and creative writing, which you think would depend on solo flights of thought, kids are now expected to act as committee members. and for the kids who prefer to go off by themselves or just to work alone, those kids are seen as outliers often or, worse, as problem cases. and the vast majority of teachers reports believing that the ideal student is an extrovert as opposed to an introvert, even though introverts actually get better grades and are more knowledgeable, according to research. (laughter)
okay, same thing is true in our workplaces. now, most of us work in open plan offices, without walls, where we are subject to the constant noise and gaze of our coworkers. and when it comes to leadership, introverts are routinely passed over for leadership positions, even though introverts tend to be very careful, much less likely to take outsize risks -- which is something we might all favor nowadays. and interesting research by adam grant at the wharton school has found that introverted leaders often deliver better outcomes than extroverts do, because when they are managing proactive employees, they're much more likely to let those employees run with their ideas, whereas an extrovert can, quite unwittingly, get so excited about things that they're putting their own stamp on things, and other people's ideas might not as easily then bubble up to the surface.

I like to look into the mirror. I remember when I was a little girl, I often stood on my toes, trying to find my face in the mirror of the dressing table, which was nearly as high as I was. Now I still like to look into the mirror. Only now, the dressing table is too low for me. As I bend down, I see the face of a young woman, glowing with maturity, confident in her future and fascinated with her own reflection.
The fact that I like to look into the mirror has to do with my granny with whom I spent most of my childhood. I remember clearly that one night I heard her murmuring, "Women can't be seen. Women can't be seen." I was so confused as to look into the mirror the next morning to check if I could indeed see myself. Only now as a young woman myself, can I understand that it was not physical visibility that granny had on her mind.
Granny spent all her life taking care of the family, day in and day out. She cooked for her husband and 10 children. But whenever guests came, she and other female family members had to eat by the stove in the small kitchen. At family discussions, she was never asked for her opinion. After grandpa passed away, she had to listen to my uncle, her eldest son, fulfilled her duty as daughter, wife, and mother; yet as a person, she remained little noticed. Even though she could see herself in the mirror of the dressing table, she was never visible in the mirror of society.
I have been living a different life. At home, I make decisions together with the rest of the family. In school, I often take charge of various activities the same as other boys and girls. Not only that, I can see something granny could not have dreamed of─making decisions for my own future. My life has been a series of decisions. I could choose from several universities as I came out of high school. At university, I could choose from a range of subjects from English literature to business law. And now upon graduation, I am again faced with decisions─to further my study or to go to work; to stay in China or to go abroad; to get married right away or to remain single for a bit longer.
It does not matter whether or not I will become famous or rich, but I will treasure the chance to demonstrate my potential and to help other women demonstrate theirs as full members of society, fully visible in the mirror of history. I will treasure it because the abundance of choice that I enjoy came only after decades of efforts made by my granny, my mum, and millions of other Chinese women.
However, the choices to be made by me and others of my generation are a great challenge. The misconception that men are superior to women is still dominating many people's minds. While men are encouraged to compete and to assert themselves, we are expected to be quiet, loyal and obedient. This is not very different from what is expected of us as good wives and good mothers. The challenge we face calls for a higher level of our personal development and self-determination.
The story of my grandmother and myself mirrors the lives of millions of other women in China and perhaps in the world. Many of them still lead the life of my grandmother. Their worth is not yet recognized. It is the responsibility of a young person like me to work hard and struggle hard so that they too will see themselves and will be seen in the mirror of society.
This is my dream. This dream, I believe, is not only shared by our grandmothers, mothers and sisters, but also by many of our fathers, brothers, husbands and male colleagues.
It will not come true until everyone fully realizes that women can contribute to society and should be guaranteed the right to do so. Women hold up half the sky.
Students are free but polite and they respect each other. they can leave at 4:00 every afternoon, or perhaps earlier. they have the freedom to organize time. they can go to the library, go to the lab, the computer rooms or the playground. they’re self-motivated and have a strong thirst for knowledge. and there are no frequent exams and rankings. students won’t be forced to wear uniforms everyday, and there is no required hair style. everyday is so colorful that they are looking forward to the next day when going to bed at night, every teacher in this school can give a course as they like. there is no tedious rating, no scraps of quantitative management and no rigid standard. teachers can fully display their personality in class, and they feel very happy and content to teach. every morning, on thoughts of giving lessons, they are excited. after class, they are delighted , with smiles on their faces. some experts, scholars and masters are also visiting teachers in this school.yang zhenning can give physics classes for a day. yi zhongtian opens lectures on chinese culture for a week. speaking of music, we can ask wang lihong to give music lectures, just as he did in oxford university. if necessary, we can also invite david beckham to speak something about the world cup …
The principal of the school focuses on education rather than waste time in endless meetings and social activities. teachers’ wages are not high but enough to live comfortably. there are no other things to do except to teach. there are no paper requirements, no titles and no ranks because they don’t need to be judged by those things. almost every teacher is a well-known scholar and master in a particular field. a language teacher may be a writer at the same time. a math teacher may try to overcome a world-class guess. a physics teacher can win invention awards and a music teacher may return from an international music competition again.
In short, in this school, the principal is satisfied, the teachers are happy and the students are joyful. that’s my dream.
Hello, everyone, I’m Liu Dongdong. I’m a student. There are three people in my family—my father, mother and I.
My father is 40 years old. He is a worker. I think he is a good worker. Because he works very hard. He gets up very early every day and he works for more than 10 hours a day. So he is always busy, he looks very tired when he gets 小学 home. He likes reading newspapers. He usually reads it after supper. So he gets lots of news.
My mother is 38 years old. She is a worker too. She works in a very small factory. She is not tall and she has two big eyes. She loves me and she is good for me. She always buys some books for me. She wants me to be a top student. She also cares for my diet and life.
I’ m 15 years old. I wear glasses. I like reading. I always read books after school. I like singing, too. My favorite singer is Jay Chou. His music is very nice. What do you think of him? I also like making friends. If you want to meet me, please write to me.
Oh, my parents love me and I love them, too. My family is a happy family.
good afternoon!
recently, ther is a heated debate in our society. the college students are the beneficiaries of a rare privilege, who receive exceptional education at extraordinary places. but will we be able to face the challenge and support ourselves against all odds? will we be able to better the lives of others? will we be able to accept the responsibility of building the future of our country?
the cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the slightest discomfort. but the cynics are wrong. the college students i see are eagerly learning about how to live independently. we help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money.
the cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. but again, the cynics are wrong. we care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth. last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.
as college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. we all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country. i believe in all my fellow classmates. though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish. i believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities. we are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place. i believe in our future.
Ladies and Gentlemen:
the duality of money has been puzzling people since its first appearante. on the one hand, clean money can sweeten your life, help you succeed and be your lifelong faithful companion. on the other hand, dirty money may posion your mind, ruin your happiness and discard you suddenly as a false friend.
the market economy tells us that everyone should earn a living by selling something. professors sell their knowledge, workers sell their labor, farmers sell their produce. money now appears more powerful than anything else and drives people crazy. the temptation of money often challenges one’s honor. we are not ashamed to make more money to have a better life by our sweat. however, there is a widespread concern that millionaires become the heroes no matter whether they make any contribution to our society. some people try desperately to make big money, which, more often than not,end up with degradation, corruption and
though money is indispensable to our life, dirty money may drag us into hell. there are many things no money can buy. we will keep our honor intact at any cost because it is our soul. love of money is the root of all evil. for myself,i would rather die than dishonor myself for money.

The fourth Thursday in November is called Thanksgiving Day. On this day, families and friends gather together, share a meal, and give thanks for the blessings of good health, food, jobs, and families.
In 1620,a group of Pilgrims left from England to search for religious freedom, part of whom were they sailed to America on a small sailboat named the Mayflower finally. And they landed at what is now Plymouth, Massachusetts,in icy November. The price in human lives and tragedy had been great.
On the other hand, they saw new hope for the first official Thanksgiving in America took place in Plymouth colony, Massachusetts in October ksgiving did not become a national holiday until 1863 during the American Civil War.
In the United States, thanksgiving dinner is practically the same all over the country. The table is always loaded with delicious food of many different rally, the main course is turkey(a bird native to the Americans),with an array of vegetables and kin pie is often served in remembrance of the first settlers.
Today, as people live a better life, they chase for more enjoyment. we can see from the news that when the holiday comes, there are so many people gather in the scenery site. people like to travel today, they can take a plane, take the bus or even take a bike.
On my opinion, the best way to travel is by train. first, it is very cheap. compare with other ways, such as plane and bus, train is less expensive, people can save a lot of money.
Besides, taking the train is much safer. people don’t have to worry about crush, which is more happen in the plane or bus. second, we can enjoy the scenery in the train. though the train is very slow, we can have a good sight of the beautiful scenery, when we go to tibet, we can see different colors and different mountains during the trip. taking the train is the best way to travel.
As everyone knows,English is very important today. It has been used everywhere in the world. It has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade. If we can speak English well,we will have more chance to succeed.Because more and more people have taken notice of it,the number of the people who go to learn English has increased at a high speed.
But for myself,I learn English not only because of its importance and its usefulness, but also because of my love for it.When I learn English, I can feel a different way of thinking which gives me more room to touch the world. When I read English novels,I can feel the pleasure from the book which is different from reading the translation. When I speak English, I can feel the confident from my words. When I write English,I can see the beauty which is not the same as our Chinese...
I love English,it gives me a colorful dream.I hope I can travel around the world one day. With my good English, I can make friends with many people from different contries.I can see many places of great intrests.I dream that I can go to London, because it is the birth place of English.
I also want to use my good English to introduce our great places to the English spoken people,I hope that they can love our country like us.
I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well.
If you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. So I believe as I love English everyday , it will love me too.
good morning, everyone. my name is . i'm from cheng zhuang primany school. i'm a puiple.today i will tell you a story, the topic is the greedy mouse.
you know the cats eat the mice, and they are enimies. but there is a little mouse that don't know it, her name is jerry.
one day, that was jerry's birthday. that morning, jerry's father and mother got up earilier and said to her, "jerry, get up, get up" the little jerry was sleeping and said, "what's wrong?" "today is your birthday, we are going to buy some presents for you." "thank you, dady momy." then they went out.
but at that time, a cat was looking for food. his name is tom. he found jerry's father and mother went out, left their daughter only at home. he was very happy, said to yourself, "oh, now i have food."
then he called 7654321. jerry catched the telephone quickly, "hello" she said, "this is jerry, who's that?" "this is a tom. i'm a cat."
"a cat? what are you doing?" the cat said, "i hear today is your birthday, happy birthday to you. i have a present for you." jerry was happy, and said, "thank you. you may come here. see you later." "see you later."
then tom went to jerry's home with some flowers.
"who are you?" jerry said, "i'm a tom." "oh, welcome, welcome" the door was open. "jerry, happy birthday to you, here you are." "oh, how nice. thank you, thank you very much. come in, please. then the cat came into jerry's home.
Today, the teacher wants to talk about the topic of campus beautification. now i think there may be some students think, beautify the campus? our beautiful campus is not it? you look at the campus playground clean: no pa-pe-r scraps, four words surrounding trees turf building brilliant, neat rows of students in bright color, beautiful, there are beautiful scenery to embrace, who dare say our campus beauty ah? but today, the teacher to tell the truth: we are the campus of lethan u.s., there are "ugly".
Next january, we will graduate from the school, we will enter into the society, the environment changes will bring us anything, now i can make nothing of it. but i know the upcoming is a new life, a new starting point.
In the middle of an ordinary life, always heard about a green hand students setbacks is a terrible word, we do not need to care too much, a lot of frustration is often a good start. some people grow up in the setback, someone in the frustration in the fall, the key depends on an individual is how to treat. to know the world is always relative, setbacks will be successful, it is what you want to do in the state of mind to face, stand up to better themselves, just to love, be contrite and reform oneself sigh unceasingly, can only continue to cry. which station on the table, not a bunch of sad past? frustration often makes them station more stable.
I remember that the united states novelist, maugham wrote a novel, called the" blade", is that people moving from one state to another state when, as a transition from the knife to the other side, but the most difficult time is through the edge of the moment, i walked past will find, the other side of the knife not far from the way we thought impossible.
Now, fast graduation face is going to test establishment, at school i often hear someone say" we than undergraduate, also do not go to test!", often hear such words, i would sniff at. in my opinion, the undergraduate is fierce, but we also is not a coward, why not start to abandon? usually say " opportunity is for those who are prepared", here i want to add a sentence "the opportunity is given to those who dares and challenges people," if we have the courage to challenge, again with our 5 years of accumulation, we have nothing more than undergraduate. moreover, our professional ability is stronger than they, after all we are spent 5years learning, plus we have two internship opportunities, have a look, not over it, we the prerequisites have been far better with them, what need is there to be contrite and reform oneself?

I would like to share with you a true story about Nicholas James was born with Tetra-amelia, a rare disorder characterized by the absence ofall four limbs. He struggled as a child, eventually came to terms with hisdisability and started his own non-profit organization Life Without Limbs – atage seventeen. He is widely known as a motivational speaker, giving talksworldwide on life with a disability, hope, and finding meaning in life.
He was bullied at school, Vujicic grew depressed and by the age of 8,contemplated suicide. At age 10, he tried to drown himself in 4 inches of water, but did not go through with it out of love for his parents. After praying togrow arms and legs, Vujicic eventually realized that his accomplishments couldinspire others – and became grateful for his life. A key turning point came whenhis mother showed him a newspaper article about a man dealing with a severedisability. Vujicic realized he wasn't unique in his struggles and began toembrace and transcend his disability.
This man, the soldier of life, came to my hometown 2 months ago. I got tolisten to him, and talk to him, face to face. I could never forget the look inhis face when he said “when I was young, I always feel cold, and dark. My firstdream was to grow arms and legs, but there is no future for me at all. ” Andnow, 28 years has passed since he was born, 28 years without arms and ’s first dream didn't come true, but he didn't lose his faith of himself, and the faith of this life.
Nick is living a life without limbs, and also a life without are to him, young people, there is no excuses to lose our faith in ourselvesand this world. I understand that life couldn't be anything we want it to be,and life couldn't bring us everything we long for, sometimes, life even takesaway our cherished ones. However, we are young; we are the hope of the wholeworld. Faith is right there within our reach.
Never lose faith, let us make to our life, to our future a dearpromise.
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. i’d like to share my teaching dream with you. but before that, i want to say something about the beginning of this dream. in march this year, three teachers from australia came to our school. during the meeting, we exchanged a lot about education. i found that though we have almost the same teaching philosophy, we have different routines. what impressed me most was that their schools end at 3:00 in the afternoon and have no night classes. i can’t tell which kind of routine is better, but the sharp contrast made me think about a better education. the following is a dreamy school in my mind, in which there is no pressure but pleasure.
In this school, the buildings are well designed, close to nature. in the morning, children can read while enjoying the beautiful sunrise. in the evening, they can exercise by the lake reflecting the amazing sunset. in the spring, they can go to the wild, lie on the lawn, and watch the kite flying in the blue sky. in the summer, they can go to the forest, live in a cabin, and listen to the rhythm of the rain. …
Students are free but polite and they respect each other. they can leave at 4:00 every afternoon, or perhaps earlier. they have the freedom to organize time. they can go to the library, go to the lab, the computer rooms or the playground. they’re self-motivated and have a strong thirst for knowledge. and there are no frequent exams and rankings. students won’t be forced to wear uniforms everyday, and there is no required hair style. everyday is so colorful that they are looking forward to the next day when going to bed at night,
Who arrived at the place all belong to yesterday. Even if the mountains green again the water to show that water again gentleness. Too deep linger became a fetters trip over not only have two feet and in the future.
How can you don't like to start? It is a pity that haven't seen on lofty mountains; See the lofty mountains and have not seen the sea vast is still a pity; See the vastness of the sea have never seen a vast desert still sad; See the vast desert have not seen the mystery of forest or regret. There are a lot of scenery in the world I have not old.
I know dashan is rocky the sea waves the desert sand forest have a beast of prey. Even so I still like it.
Break the peace of life is another scene. Glad I haven't old. What about even old not words called hale and hearty?
So I would also like to learn from the mountain I also want to learn from the brave I also want to learn from the desert I also want to learn from the forest alert. I want to learn to taste a colorful life.
How far one can go? This is not to ask two feet but ask ambition; Man can climb much higher? This thing is not to ask his hands but asked will. So I want to use the youth blood raise a lofty goals for yourself. Is not only to win a glorious but also in pursuit of a kind of state. Goals is glorious goal not life will be because of the wind and rain all the way walk becomes rich and colorful; In my opinion this is not to life.
hello! everyone. i’m tang jingting. i’ am eleven years old. i’m from experiment primary school. i’m in class 1,grade 5, . nice to meet you.
i’m a happy girl. there are three members in my family: my father, my mother and i. both of my parents love me very much and i love them too.
i have many hobbies, such as sports, singing and reading books. and i play the piano very well. but i love animals most. now i will tell you about my favorite animal. today my topic is my favorite animal.
my favorite animal
do you know what my favorite animal is? it is one of the most precious animals. their bodies are very long. they live in the sea. they live on fish, shrimps and so on.
they are very clever. people often train them,so that they can give it show which brings people a lot of happiness and joy.
they are very friendly and peaceful. they never attack people. instead, they have saved many people in danger in the past years. how helpful they are!
can you guess its name now? yes, you are right. they are dolphins.
however, unluckily, the number of dolphins is getting smaller and smaller. because of water pollution, there is less and less space for dolphins. many people make money by hunting dolphins. if we don’t protect them, maybe we’ll lose our good friends one day. as a student, i hope more and more people should protect dolphins.
i love dolphins very much. and i hope dolphins are our good friends for ever. i hope they can live in the blue sea happily and peacefully. let’s protect the animals together. let’s take actions.
I am Chinese. I am proud of being a Chinese with five thousand years of civilization behind. I've learned about the four great inventions made by our forefathers. I've learned about the Great Wall and the Yangtze River. I've learned about Zhang Heng and I've learned about Zheng He.Who says the Yellow River Civilization has vanished?
I know that my ancestors have made miracles on this fertile land and we're still making miracles. Who can ignore the fact that we have established ourselves as a great state in the world, that we have devised our own nuclear weapons, that we have successfully sent our satellites into space, and that our GNP ranks No. 7 in the world? We have experienced the plunders by other nations, and we have experienced the war. Yet, based on such ruins, there still stands our nation----China, unyielding and unconquerable!
I once came across an American tourist. She said, “China has a history of five thousand years, but the US only has a history of 200 years. Five thousand years ago, China took the lead in the world, and now it is the US that is leading.”My heart was deeply touched by these words. It is true that we're still a developing nation, but it doesn't mean that we can despise ourselves. We have such a long-standing history, we have such abundant resources, we have such intelligent and diligent people, and we have enough to be proud of. We have reasons to say proudly:we are sure to take the lead in the world in the future again, for our problems are big, but our ambition is even bigger, our challenges are great, but our will is evengreater.
I am Chinese. I have inherited black hair and blackeyes. I have inherited the virtues of my ancestors. I have also taken over responsibility. I am sure, that wherever I go, whatever I do, I shall never forget that I am Chinese!
Thank you.
but i know, life is tough, and there are always ups and downs, maybe we fail in the way to our aims, and we may feel depressed ,whenever at this time, the dream in our heart can always comfort us, encourage us ,and support us to move ahead .
young!fortunately, i am young now. just due to it, i know that nothing is impossible.i firmly believe that nothing can stand in my way. if i can't realize my dream,it result from that i haven't work harder enough and i won't find other excuses. if no people believe you, you can make it to prove that you are right. if you think the god haven't blessed you and there is no truth here, you can become the god and create the truth.
"my breath swallows the sky and make the yellow river overflow, my sword is famous in kyushu and it can collapse the five sacred mountains." at some time in the past i also had am bitious words and i had some achievements. each achievement results from my hard work. i always believe that "if you want to have more achievements than others, you must work harder." in some extent, the dream is the hope. if you can insist on doing something, the victory will come.
hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. so my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today. let's--- move ----out!
thank you for your listening!
So many people underestimate the power and importance of a smile, that simple little facial expression characterized by an upward curving of the corners of the mouth.
A smile has many meanings: pleasure, friendliness, welcome, amusement, and many more; and it is part of a universal body language that doesn’t need any extra interpretation.
Plus a smile, with all its simplcity and beauty, can be a very important factor in many aspects of our lives:
You fall in love with a new country you visit because its people greet you with a welcoming smile everywhere you go; other countries you just don’t like even though they might have more history, nature, entertainment and whatnot because their people don’t seem so friendly or accepting.
You feel like buying from a certain store when the vendor welcomes you in with a smile, sometimes even if you wouldn’t intially have bought anything; and in other stores, even though they have exactly what you need or better, you decide to walk away because the vendor doesn’t look welcoming at all.
You want to give a waiter a good tip when he serves you with a smile, even if the food turns out not that good; on the other hand, sometimes you’ll have some of the best food ever, but you won’t feel like giving the waiter a tip, even if you do, because he was grumpy.
More and more examples from our everyday life show how much a simple smile can change everything.
Forever engraved in my mind will be the smiling faces of the people of Thailand, the friendly pizza delivery boy, the welcoming supermarket vendor, the nice cashier at the bank, …etc.
It is these smiles that keep me wanting to go back, and that keep us all wanting to go back; looking at it from another view, if we break it down using business sense, a smile is one of the most effective means to generate sales and develop customer loyalty.
On top of all that, a smile is a very simple and easy thing to do, so it amazes why no one bothers to do it, it not only makes the person in front of you better, but it also makes you feel better as well, and I’m not making this up, it has been psychologically proven.
Personally, I’d like to see more smiling faces in this world; in the airports when I enter a new country, in companies, government agencies, restaurants, hotels, banks, everywhere; and I think it is up to governments to campaign about this, and even make it obligatory in certain important places like airports, hospitals, hotels…etc.
Let’s all simply smile.
Distinguished judges, teachers, students:

What is life? is patience, tenacity, perseverance is perseverance, perseverance is a kind of toward the goal diligently pursue the process, a destination never give up the spirit!
Life is not easy, there are test; life is not smooth, often need to exercise. cannot persist in their pursuit for ideal, can't keep on carving to efforts, will be without a single success.

One persistent tenacity is strong from the need of necessary conditions. in the face of adversity is from, in the face of difficulties do not bow their heads, is a heroic performance. ancient cloud: adversity makes a man wise, what makes a hero. the setback and the attack for the strong is the driving force and pressure, is succeand victory! as everyone knows, he was arrested and his book; zhong ni and qu yuan banished for spring and autumn; ode to a left thalamic blindness, mandarin; sima qian; the" historical records" prison; beethoven wrote" moonlight sonata". be too numerous to enumerate examples, but the truth is only one, it is perseverance!
In his daily sailing kolumb diary is always written with such a sentence:" we keep going!" this sentence may seem trivial, but contains a profound truth. with this advance courageously spirit, they marched towards the vast sea, acrothe tempestuous waves, after savage wilderness, overcome go through untold hardships, finally found a new continent, completed the history of an amazing feat!
Have one words of song, everyone for having heard it many times," no experience of wind and rain, how to see rainbow!" the road of life is not smooth, but carries a beautiful dream, just stick to the direction of life, they will be able to create their own or even human miracle!
Finally, i would like to use a poem:
Ugly bat with thousands of years of hard work was to win the praise of the poet a buffalo with a million works won the painter's green eyes, we are not born for fame and live to die,we are for the faith and to fight song!
thank you.
the marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the negro community must not lead us to a distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny. and they have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.
we cannot walk alone.
and as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead.
we cannot turn back.
there are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, "when will you be satisfied?" we can never be satisfied as long as the negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality. we can never be satisfied as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. we cannot be satisfied as long as a negro in mississippi cannot vote and a negro in new york believes he has nothing for which to vote. no, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until "justice rolls down like waters, and righteousnelike a mighty stream.
people’ hopes and ideals.
A friend of mine named Paul received an automobile from his brother as a Christmas present. On Christmas Eve when Paul came out of his office, a street urchin was walking around the shiny new car, admiring it.
"Is this your car, Mister?" he said.
Paul nodded. "My brother gave it to me for Christmas." The boy was astounded. "You mean your brother gave it to you and it didn’t cost you nothing? Boy, I wish . . ." He hesitated.
Of course Paul knew what he was going to wish for. He was going to wish he had a brother like that. But what the lad said jarred Paul all the way down to his heels.
"I wish," the boy went on, "That I could be a brother like that."
Paul looked at the boy in astonishment, then impulsively he added, "Would you like to take a ride in my car?"
"Oh yes, Id love that."
After a short ride, the boy turned with his eyes aglow, said, "Mister, would you mind driving in front of my house?"
Paul smiled a little. He thought he knew what the lad wanted. He wanted to show his neighbors that he could ride home in a big automobile. But Paul was wrong again. "Will you stop where those two steps are?" the boy asked.
He ran up the steps. Then in a little while Paul heard him coming back, but he was not coming fast. He was carrying his little crippled brother. He sat him down on the bottom step, then sort of squeezed up against him and pointed to the car.
"There she is, Buddy, just like I told you upstairs. His brother gave it to him for Christmas and it didn’t cost him a cent. And some day Im gonna give you one just like it . . . then you can see for yourself all the pretty things in the Christmas windows that Ive been trying to tell you about." Paul got out and lifted the lad to the front seat of his car. The shining-eyed older brother climbed in beside him and the three of them began a memorable holiday ride. That Christmas Eve, Paul learned
what Jesus meant when he said: "It is more blessed to give . . . "
